The adventure continues south, exploring the archaeological treasures of Apollonia and the beautiful Porto Palermo Castle, before reaching the coastal city of Saranda. From there, you’ll visit the ancient ruins of Butrint, the mystical Blue Eye Spring, and the “City of Stone,” Gjirokastra, renowned for its well-preserved Ottoman buildings.
The journey continues with a visit to the Benja Thermal Baths, where you can relax in the healing waters. You’ll also experience the charm of Albania’s rural life at Farma Sotira before heading to Korça, a city known for its vibrant culture. The adventure then leads to Voskopoja, a historic village, and to Ohrid, a UNESCO city celebrated for its stunning lake and ancient churches. The tour concludes in Kruja, birthplace of Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg, offering a final glimpse of the country’s history before returning to Tirana.

Welcome to Albania! Upon your arrival at Mother Teresa Airport, your adventure begins. After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a guided tour of Tirana, starting at Skanderbeg Square, the heart of the city. We'll explore Ethem Bey Mosque, the iconic Clock Tower, Enver Hoxha's Pyramid, and the poignant Postbllok memorial, learning about Albania’s fascinating history. In the afternoon, we travel to Berat, a unique and charming historic city in southern Albania, renowned for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture and scenic hillside views. Known as the "City of one above the other Window," Berat is a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its ancient castle, historic mosques, and beautiful riverside settingthe .We will visit Berat Castle, take a stroll across the Gorica Bridge, and wander through the charming Mangalem neighborhood. Don’t miss a stop at a traditional Historic House, where you’ll enjoy a taste of gliko, a traditional Albanian preserve made from fruits, nuts, or flowers, cooked in syrup and coffee. Set on a small peninsula, it offers spectacular views of the Ionian Sea and is known for its strategic location and historical significance. After breakfast, we will explore Butrint Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage site in southern Albania, featuring ancient ruins that span over 2,500 years of history. Once a thriving Greek and Roman city, it boasts impressive structures, including a theater, basilica, and city walls, all set in a lush, scenic landscape near the Ionian Sea. En route to Gjirokastra, we will stop to see the enchanting Blue Eye Spring, a natural wonder known for its vibrant, crystal-clear blue waters which creates a mesmerizing visual effect as the water bubbles up from a deep, mysterious source. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Gjirokastra, often called the "City of Stone," (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes). The city is a UNESCO World Heritage, known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture, cobbled streets, and striking stone.We will visit the historic Gjirokastra Fortress and wander through the city’s ancient streets, filled with traditional stone houses. This morning, we are off to the soothing Benja Thermal Baths, known for their healing properties. Enjoy some free time to relax in the warm, mineral-rich waters or take a short walk along the canyon. Afterward, we journey to Korça, often called the “Paris of Albania.” Explore the New Bazar, the Orthodox Church, the Museum of Medieval Art, and the First Albanian School.
